Our elders say the Thunderbird is a powerful and revered figure in our Native American mythology, symbolizing strength, protection, and the forces of nature, particularly thunder and lightning. They say listen and you will learn. IAIA mascot, named “Monty” can be seen in the background.

As art students look to reenergize and revitalize individual mental health they have designated the home gym court as a safe place to have fun and build positive relations through sports so named the “nest” which ties into our commitment to strengthen our IAIA community circle.
